On February 2, around 12:30 PM, my best friend’s family’s home was destroyed by a fire.

Everyone was able to make it out of the house safely, but they lost everything. All of their memories, belongings, EVERYTHING. There is no way to put into words how they must be feeling right now. You never think something like this will happen to you or someone you know, until it does.

Currently, they are living out of a hotel room. Usually in these situations, the people affected don’t know what to ask for because they are so devastated, and friends and family don’t even know where to begin to start helping. When I first got the news, I automatically started thinking how I could help. What could I take to them that would make everything better? Clothes? Food? Necessities? If I’m being honest, I knew nothing was going to make the devastation they were feeling disappear. So, the best thing I could come up with was to make a GoFundMe, where everyone could donate to help this beloved family in need. If you are at all able, please consider donating to help the family restock on clothes, food, basic necessities, etc. They deserve every penny. Thank you all so much in advance!
