Ethan's Medical Brigade Trip to Ghana, Africa
Donation protected
Hello friends!
I am currently a student at the University of San Diego, studying Biology and Spanish with the hopes of going to medical school to pursue my passion of medicine. One major aspect of the pre-medical schooling process is community service, and I have been lucky enough to be chosen to be a member of a student organization called Medical Brigades.
Medical Brigades is an organization that is fully ran and funded by the efforts of students. Members of Medical Brigades have the opportunity to travel to under developed countries and offer critical medical attention to the citizens. The students are exposed to various shadowing opportunities of licensed medical professionals, such as a general physician, dentist, physician’s assistant, OBGYN, and more. Members also strive to bring sustainability to their community by constructing fresh water wells or teaching the community about proper hygiene habits or ways they can be efficient with their money so as to promote better living even after we leave the country.
We will be going to Ghana, Africa at the beginning of this upcoming January and are in need of donations, no matter how big or small! I am trying to raise $3000 to fund my trip. Your donation is 501C3 tax deductible, with the tax ID number 371551109.
Your donation will allow myself along with my organization to have the opportunity to give the people of Ghana proper medical care, medical education, and ways of more sustainable and healthy living. Medical Brigades and the citizens of Ghana greatly appreciate your generous contribution!
