Essential Supply Pilot - COVID-19 Response

We are Essential Supply, a nonprofit founded by a team of Stanford Graduate School of Business students. Our goal is to make operations easier for all of the amazing local volunteer organizations delivering food and essentials to aging and immunocompromised populations all over the country impacted by COVID-19. We are:

- Developing a centralized intake platform for seniors and immunocompromised Americans to access groceries and essential supplies online and via virtual hotline (did you know 34% of US seniors don't use the internet?)
- Matching local delivery partners with volunteers and providing them with operational support and best practices to help them scale
- Helping to streamline low-tech contactless payments for our partners
- Becoming a trusted national data source for virus-related food insecurity

We are not taking salaries and have no overhead. We are growing as rapidly as we can to meet the enormous need and are raising money to fund a six-week pilot program. We are enormously grateful for your support!

What your support will help fund:
6-8 weeks of:
- Software costs for our hotline and payment partners (negotiated to the lowest possible rates)
- Online & offline marketing, PR, and media costs to spread the word to the neediest, hardest-to-reach populations
- Potential food subsidies
