Essential Machines

“I am very scared, I could die”. Those were the 7 words my best friend Matt told me when I asked him about the virus. Initially, when I heard about the virus I did not think much of it, and I honestly too focus on myself to care. However, after interviewing more of my friends, surveying my peers at The University at Buffalo, and discovering about Matt’s pre-existing health condition, I learned more about their concerns and needs that have been brought upon them due to Covid-19. 

With my entrepreneurial drive and my genuine care for those around me, I decided to establish the company Essential Machine. Our company's goal is to solve problems involving Covid-19 with our Essential Machine. We intend to minimize wait time and distance traveled to acquire anti-virus essentials, have options for people who have forgotten an anti-virus essential at home, and diminish the fear that people have of contracting the virus when themselves or their loved one leave the house to purchase anti-virus essentials. 

I saw the opportunity to help my friends and peers and I decided to pursue it. Millions of people have been placed in unfortunate positions due to the pandemic. Giving people access to antivirus essentials in a safe, convenient, and timely manner helps communities and the world.
