2019, my mother, Sarah Olsen discovered she had lung cancer. She faced the battle head on, she had an operation and thankfully won the battle.
2020 unfortunately Sarah found out that her cancer had infact returned. Except this time it had spread to her lungs, liver and abdomen.
Sarah has been told to plan for the near future as they suspect she only has 1year left to live. Not only is Sarah facing cancer but she has been diagnosed with a rare condition called, CUSHINGS SYNDROME. This is too much of a hormone called cortisol in the body often caused by tumours. And this leads to swelling in various places of the body and causes nothing but harm.
Sarah has lived in her home for 27 years with her partner, (My father) Stewart Olsen.
They have built their lives together in this family home, they have raised their children in that home and now their grandchildren too. Sarah's last wish, the one thing she would love to achieve in her life, would be to Buy their Home. So she can live the rest of her life knowing that she will leave her family some stability and security!
So her family can carry on living in their family home and remember the years they all had together. cherish every memory.
So please .. would you help make Sarah last wish come true. Would you please help Sarah live her last year knowing that she's achieved everything she wishes to achieve.
She's raising awareness for the rare condition, Cushing's syndrome.
