Erin & Tim's Adoption/Baby Fund

Donation protected

We want to help start Erin and Tim's baby story.  For seven long years, they have worked to start a family.  Enduring infertility is a grueling  process and encompasses every aspect of your life.  They have completed every step of the process with grace, accepting both the tears and the smiles.  They've changed their vision many times of what their family would look like.  They've tried the regular methods, including fertility drugs and office procedures, eventually moving on to rounds of IVF.  They worked through each set of difficulties together and always accepted the next step, knowing that God had a plan for them.  When they realized they would never have children of their own, they quickly and wholeheartedly began the adoption process, working with state agencies to be aproved for adoption.  Their adoption story is not a regular story though--they are adopting frozen embryos in the hope of giving them life.

The story doesn't start or end there though.  They are allowed only a few chances to adopt the frozen embryos.  Last fall, three embryos were transfered and miraculously, Erin was pregnant!  We celebrated and planned and hoped they were seeing an end to their struggles and God's plan laid out for them.  In January, at a routine 11 week ultrasound, there was no longer a heartbeat.  Again, the story didn't end there.  After a D&C, the doctors discovered that it had been a partial molar pregnancy, an extremely rare occurance (much more so than the more common molar pregnancy).  She was quickly monitored and underwent blood tests for the next six months to be sure that the cells did not turn malignant.  In July, she will have a clean bill of health and another chance to adopt three more embryos.

We want to help their infertility story to end this month and a new chapter to begin with a pregnancy and a growing family!

They do not know about this page and we would like to keep it a secret until we present them with this gift.  They would NEVER ask for anything, but I know that there are many of us who would like to help them start the family they've been dreaming about for many years!  Please keep this a secret!
