Erica McCarthy, Kaitlyn Burrow and Rachel Lusby have been given the opportunity to travel to Haiti in March, with the I'm Me organization .
Thank you for taking the time to read about an amazing opportunity we have been given. Through the I'm ME organization, we have been invited to visit Haiti on a vision trip. We are asking for help to raise money for our trip to Haiti. We are humbled and grateful by the the opportunity the Lord has given us.
The experience which covers room and board is $800 per person and the flights are around $700, thus needing about $1,500 per person, for a total of $4,500 to make this happen.

In addition to taking people, like us, to Haiti to embrace what is going on in society other than ours, I'm Me facilitates childnre's homes where orphans are raised in a positive environment surrounded by "family", giving them structure they do not have outside of the home. They also coordinate after school programs that encourage, sports, music and art, which encourage them to stay off the streets and pursue other things. Ultimately, their goal is to end the orphan cycle and we want to help get them there.
Though, we won't be building homes or schools, we will be engaging with these families who need daily love and encouragement. It will be an unforgettable experience for the three of us, and hopefully the people we connect with in Haiti.

Missions have tasks, goals, or objectives that are meant to be accomplished, and the mission is measured on success or failure based on the end result. The term mission also encourages a “beginning and end” mentality; meaning the mission begins when you arrive and ends when you land back home. We chose the word Vision because it’s our prayer that you will “see” things from a different perspective. You won’t change Haiti in 7 days, but if you allow it to, Haiti can and will change you. A Vision Trip is meant to help you see past your limitations, comfortability, experiences, doubts, fears, and selfishness.
