Stronger Together - DIY PPE isolation gowns

Donation protected

AR Workshop in Manchester, NH is allowing the use of their shop during this pandemic. When I approached them asking if I could use the space to make a few isolation gowns (PPE) for the Elliot ICU staff because we were almost out- they jumped at the chance to help. When the project became MUCH larger, with a goal of 28,000 gowns for all of Elliot, they graciously offered the space AND solicited customers for donations of food and drink. Amazing.   Paradise Quilting in Concord is using their shop for production of a washable PPE isolation gown. When I brought the idea and pattern in, owner Fran Ruel not only offered the use of her shop, she donated the material for the prototype gowns and helped find a supplier to buy 400 yards more material!

I would like to ask people to remember this when the pandemic clears. Support AR Workshop. Support Paradise Quilting. And if you can donate to support THEIR business so I can keep using their space to make gowns -to keep local healthcare workers safe- we can protect these selfless local business owners and the frontline workers all at once!
All donated funds will go directly for costs to support this effort, including support for AR Workshop and Paradise Quilting, and for supplies for the gown making effort.
