Help get the Kents to Fatherheart

"For God so loved the world..." John 3:16

As a family, we strive to make this verse the story of our lives. We see the desperate need for the power of the love of God to be made manifest to those around us; to be exemplified and poured out, so that others may see and know true salvation.

A few months ago, I attended a week-long conference focusing on the Father-Heart of God. It was a powerful time for me personally and I was also excited and amazed to see how many local Thais were participating and how they received and responded to the outpouring of God’s love for them – especially in a culture where deep emotions and vulnerability are often suppressed. This experience caused a slight shift in my focus and a yearning in my heart for more of this for myself and for those around me.

 And so, as we approach our 2 year anniversary in Thailand, we hear God calling to us to a season of preparation, healing and equipping for the many seasons of service ahead.  We see God’s hand at work to prepare us more thoroughly for sharing His Father-love in Thailand and beyond.

 On September 10, we will officially begin this season, as we participate in a 3 month school with FatherHeart Ministries in New Zealand – returning to Thailand on December 10. The Lord has been very clear with us that this is not a break or an “aside” from our work as full-time missionaries, but rather will be the crux of everything we do from this point on. We are not only excited for these 3 months, but also for the months and years beyond as we multiply what we learn and experience by imparting it to others.

 We want to invite you to stand with our family in this season. Please pray with us for deep revelation and clear vision; for our passions to align with the Father’s and for our path to be made straight in front of us when we return to Thailand and continue our ministry with renewed purpose.

Here is what we need:
 - School fees (daily classes, housing, meals, transportation, ferry, etc) for our big family - $20,235
 - Airfare for family - $4,000 

 We just received our acceptance from FHM last week. Our school fees are due by August 15 and our airfare must be purchsed by July 31. We would love for you to be a part of the journey with us and help us reach our goal!
