Help Allyson Beat Stage 4

Allyson - a wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, friend... is turning 50 in 2015. This milestone should have been a big celebration for the entire family as it also coincides with her 5 year cancer-free period.
In 2009, she was diagnosed with Right-sided Stage 3 Breast Cancer (T2 N2) Hormone Receptor Negative, HER-2/Neu Positive. Allyson underwent the regular medical route -- this was Mastectomy of the Right Breast supplemented with chemotherapy, radiation and immuno-therapy. With these, she also went through the harsh side effects of body weakness, nausea and hair loss.
Earlier this year, Allyson was suffering chronic hip and leg pain. When she went in for consult, the diagnosis was impending left pathological femur fracture. This was found to be due to the cancer metastasizing to her hip. She underwent surgery and the tumor on her left femur was shaved off. There is now a titanium rod screwed down and nailed in to support it.
Post-op whole body CT scan also revealed a soft tissue mass in her right lung which is suggestive of Bronchogenic Carcinoma.
Today her diagnosis is METASTATIC ADENOCARCINOMA - STAGE 4. Her oncologist plans radiation and chemotherapy to only alleviate the pain.
To reduce risks of fatal side effects, Allyson would like to start with holistic/alternative treatments. However in Canada, insurance doesn't cover this kind of treatment.
Help Allyson beat Stage 4! Your donation, monetary or even words of encouragement, will definitely go a long loooonggg way.
