Michael Garrett’s Medical Bills

Michael began showing symptoms for a neurological disease in March of 2020. He was taken to the emergency room multiple times over the next month and experienced symptoms including loss of vision and severe pain in his head and ear. He began seeing multiple therapists to assist with things like coordination and learning to walk again. In April, he began having seizures repetitively and was rushed to the emergency room where he became unresponsive. He was transferred to ICU and placed on life support. They completed multiple tests with no conclusive answers and were forced to send him to Inova Fairfax via helicopter to be placed in the ICU with the Neurological Unit. He has been there for 10 days and has shown no signs of improvement, and still no determination on what is causing this rapid decline. They have determined what he is suffering from is incurable and they have removed him from life support and have given a timeline of a couple days for him to be able to breath on his own. This has accrued multiple medical bills for my mom (Michaels wife), as well as the inability to work currently. Michael is a husband, father and  grandfather. He is also a friend to many people. He is 62 years old and has worked for the same company since he was 17. He has always worked hard and this has been very unexpected for his family. We would appreciate any help we’re able to receive.
