Warriors for Jackson Koch
Donation protected
On March 6th, 2016 our nephew Jackson Koch (age 14) suffered a life threatening head injury and was rushed to the head trauma unit at University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) in Omaha, NE where he immediately underwent surgery to remove part of his skull. Removing part of his skull allowed room for his brain to swell from the head injury while minimizing the pressure to his brain. Jackson was in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at UNMC, where he was in a deep coma for over a week. Slowly Jackson started to regain consciousness about 1 week after his surgery. He was transferred to the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, NE where he will begin months of extensive, intense rehabilitation therapy to regain/relearn his basic motor skills.
All donations raised will be used to help pay for costs incurred during this long road to bring Jackson to a full recovery at UNMC and the Madonna Rehabilitation Center.
We truly appreciate all your support and above all else, please continue to pray for Jackson, his parents Jessica & Jason, and his little brother Nathan as they continue this fight!
Love,
Jody & Amber (Jackson's Aunts)
