Light on U is a non-profit organization, based in the New Jersey / New York area. This organization is to honor the life of Uche Chukwuma, a woman of drive, discipline, and ambition who sadly passed in a tragic car accident on December 20th, 2019.
To continue Uche's legacy of helping to uplift those around you, Light on U focuses on teaching young minority women how to illuminate their light and talents, secure their passions, and chase their dreams.
This year, our team looks to celebrate successful achievements of high school girls through an annual gala where we honor our mentees, grant scholarships, and reflect on Uche's legacy.
By making a donation you will positively impact an incredible initiative that aims to help our girls find their light to become powerful leaders of the future All proceeds will support the annual event and scholarship program in the following ways:
