END PERIOD POVERTY IN GRIMSBY
We are a group of four GCSE students dedicated to ending period poverty in Grimsby.
The sad reality is, many people in Grimsby are struggling to get by, many people are having to rely on food banks and don't have enough money to be able to afford necessary sanitary products.
We will use money (both from this website and real life fundraising) to put together period care boxes containing necessary sanitary products and source them to people in need.

In the UK, period poverty has caused more than quarter of women to miss work or school. This is even worse in poorer areas of the country.
Some people in the UK are forced to use newspaper, Industrial roll and even old clothes in the place of period products, these are all unsanitary.
People are risking their own health out of desperation.
