OUR MISSION
Enabling the Future, also known as “e-NABLE,” is a global community of volunteers who provide 3D printed prosthetics to those in need. With the rapidly spreading COVID-19 pandemic and a shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) worldwide, e-NABLE volunteers have joined the global 3D-printing maker community to 3D print and distribute face shields to essential personnel, including but not limited to medical professionals, hospitals, elderly, and immunocompromised individuals.
MEET OUR TEAM
Our team is a collaborative effort between e-NABLE Chapters ( i.e. Marymount, D.C., Vegas, and Sacramento), medical professionals, former delegates:

-Timothy Alberth, Madison Bondoc, Alex Copam Daniel Duben, Trevor Elben, Dominique Estrera, Jaxen Farrell, Andrea Marks, Alda Rivera (e-NABLE D.C.)
- Walter Codesido (e-NABLE Vegas)
- Thien Nguyen (e-NABLE Sacramento)
-Marice Morales (Former Delegate)
COSTS TO MAKE FACE SHIELDS
$2 = Cost of Materials for ONE Shield
$4-5 = Cost of Materials + Shipping of ONE Shield
$25-30 = Cost of One Roll of Plastic Filament (Note: One Roll of Filament can make 50 SHIELDS)
Our team has been providing bulk shipments of 3D printed face shields to essential personnel all across the USA AT NO COST to the end-users. However, the costs fall heavy onto the volunteers, who had been paying out of pocket to purchase the 3D printing filaments and additional materials (i.e. plastic sheets) as well as to ship the completed face shield kits to the end-users as soon as possible.

For essential personnel in need of face shields, carefully read and fill out our PPE Order Request Form.
SUPPORT OUR CAUSE
While the volunteers focus on 3D printing, assembling, and shipping the PPE, as well as coordinating with the PPE recipients, we would appreciate the monetary support to fund the materials we need to continue to support the growing demand of PPE to combat the COVID-19 in the USA.
Together, we can combat the pandemic and support our USA heroes, i.e. hospital personnel, grocery store/pharmacy personnel, police officers, postal workers, etc.!
