Empowering those who live with lymphoedema

Hi, my name is Gaynor Leech, and I am the founder of L-W-O Community. Our mission is to provide online support to individuals living with lymphoedema or lymphatic malformations. Since our establishment in 2013, I have dedicated my life to advancing community involvement, patient empowerment, and overall lymphatic health.

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR HELP?

1. NO FINANCIAL FUNDING: Contrary to what some may believe, the L-W-O Community does not receive any financial funding. It's a labour of love driven by passion and commitment.

2. MY ROLE: As the founder, I handle everything from administration to content creation, graphic design, website management, social media, and video production. Our website information, graphics, and videos all come at a cost.

3. VOLUNTEER MODERATORS: We are fortunate to have two fantastic moderators, Sue, and Jackie, who help manage our Facebook support group. But the rest of the work falls on my shoulders.
