Friendship network in solidarity with Mila Romero and her family.

After so many years of denouncing environmental racism, mobilizing efforts for community healing, and organizing resources to help community members in need of traditional healing and Plant Medicines, Mila Romero and her family now need our support.

Mila needs a safer and more stable vehicle for her and her two daughters and to continue offering her work to the community. The precarious condition of her current car makes her network's support urgent. It's also been four years since she last visited her family in Brazil, and with our help, this reunion may be possible.

The goal is $10,000 to cover plane tickets and a sum of the car!

Securing these funds will also allow Mila to continue providing plant medicine to community free of charge + traditional healing offerings on a sliding scale basis. Likewise the support will make it possible for her to organize for Healing community clinics and Indigenous Phytotherapy Series in 2026.
