Empower Global Education: Fund a TEFL Journey

Hey everyone! As you may or may not know, I just recently completed a TEFL course online, and am in the process of gaining my certificate. What does this mean? Well, the short answer is: I get to teach/tutor internationally in person and/or online to those learning English as a second (or 3rd, 4th, etc.) language! The long answer is: As rewarding as Special Education public teaching in New Jersey has been, I craved a change; I wanted job flexibility, a more expansive outlook, and choice. After visiting a school in Bali and meeting the children, my decision to take the course was solidified.

With all of this said, my hope is to take my new-found knowledge and credentials and put it to good use next Summer. The details have not been ironed out, but I would like to either tutor online abroad in a few different places, live with a family and tutor them in English, or teach in person either at a camp or in a home. It’s actually impressive to learn how many people are in the process of learning English or want to, for a variety of reasons.

I could use your help, though! Travel costs, Air BnBs, health insurance, and supplies are all an obvious, non-negotiable in making this dream come true. There is no pressure, of course; however, any amount would be helpful and greatly appreciated!
