Emma's campaign for HOME-START ROCHDALE BOROUGH

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. My story My name is Emma and I am 28 years old and I have 2 beautiful little girls. Home start have supported me on and off for 7 years and I honestly don't know where I'd of been without them. They supported me emotionally and financially and what an amazing job they did. Suffering with anxiety I find it very hard to control my emotions and worry about things that others may not see as a big deal. At the start of lockdown I decided I would start running to keep my mental health under control and get fit. When I started running I ran 3k 3times a week and now I can run between 6 and 10k 3 times a week. I have decided I want to run the half marathon on the 1st of November as a massive thank you to the staff at home start. I would like half the money to go towards or pay for a meal for the staff as a massive thank you for everything they do and the other half of the money to help buy things for families in need of a little help.  I cannot thank home start Rochdale enough for everything they have done for me and my girls and I will be forever grateful. A massive thank you to my support workers Alison and Jess you are absolutely amazing. Home start are very lucky to have you both on their team. Thank you for reading my story. Wish me luck :)
