Help Support Emily Enderle's Battle Against Glioblastoma

Hello, my name is Andrew Enderle and I've put together this fundraiser for my mother, Emily Enderle, as she is currently facing an ongoing battle with Glioblastoma, a form of brain cancer.

On March 18th, Emily was rushed to the ER due to having some very severe headaches. The next day, we found out she had a growing tumor in her head and needed to get it out ASAP, so she was transferred to the Mercy Hospital in St. Louis to have brain surgery. After the surgery was complete, we were told that there would still be some cancerous remains here and there but the bulk of the issue had been removed.

After about a week and more results came in, we found out that her tumor was in fact Glioblastoma and that would keep coming back no matter what. This meant that her battle was terminal and not one we could beat. Since then, we opted for radiation and chemo therapy to help keep her up and active and to prolong the time we would have with her.

Unfortunately, this past weekend on April 25th, Emily collapsed in the shower and was rushed back to the ER, then transferred once again to the Mercy Hospital. It was there that we discovered that the swelling in her brain was getting very fatal and could possibly cause a brain herniation, where the cancer reaches her spinal cord. Although we were presented the option to get surgery again, there were no guarantees she would wake up from it so, as a family, we all chose it was best not to go that route for her.

We have decided to return Emily back home and set up hospice in our living room, where family, friends, and coworkers have all been able to visit and spend time with her. We are giving her different medication every few hours and constantly checking up on her so she won't ever be in pain or alone. Her time is very limited and we're not quite sure how long that is, but we're very grateful for the time we do have with her.

The donations collected by this GoFundMe will go towards my parents debt relief, additional hospital expenses, and eventual funeral costs. Any kind of help would be incredibly appreciated, even just sharing our story and spreading the word.
