Emergency Housing Fund for Columbus, OH

FIRST Collective is a non-profit organization that works with unsheltered community members in Columbus, Ohio. Our primary goal is to help meet needs where and when we can.

Columbus is experiencing a housing crisis. Many of our community members are struggling to find housing, afford housing, access emergency shelter, and just survive. Winter is an extremely difficult season for our unsheltered neighbors. Every year, community members freeze to death, sleeping in the cold. We currently have no overnight warming centers, meaning no place for folks to stay inside with nowhere else to go. Our emergency shelters are also reaching, if not already at, max capacity.

FIRST Collective is raising funds to help community members in need of emergency housing this winter. We need your help and support to keep folks alive and safe this winter. All donations will be used for hotel rooms, airbnbs, longer-term room rentals, tents, and materials to prevent deaths due to weather conditions this winter.
