Support Angie's Fight Against Thyroid Cancer

My name is Angie. I was diagnosed on June 24th this year with papillary thyroid cancer. I do not have insurance to get the surgery I need. I have been seeing Dr. Wendy Collini of CPCN; it's a charity doctor's office for people with no insurance that live in Johnson County. She has found a surgeon that will do the surgery at no cost to me. But the hospital that he would do the procedure in wants the money up front. I will also be out of work for a week or two. This has already been a rough year for my family, my Husband Terry was diagnosed in January with lung cancer and had surgery in February. Fortunately he has Medicare that helped with most of the cost. It's been a long recovery for him. Then I got my diagnosis 4 months later.
