Ellis Medical
Dear Friends,
You are a friend.
My Brother-in-law, Craig Ellis is a good man. He needs our help.
His financial troubles started many years ago when their first child was brought into this world prematurely. Their million -dollar baby. The hospital bill was $500,000which they are still paying on. The good doctors after paying on that bill for three years write it off. Thanks to those doctors.
The third child because of being who he was in the hospital many times most minor once with major burns. More doctor and hospital bills.
Their fourth child was born with muscular dystrophy. After 26 surgeries on her leg and hand just so she could use them. Even though they don’t work like yours and mine they don’t stop her from doing things. More doctor and hospital bills.
Craig has now been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.
The doctors are going to do immunotherapy treatments to reduce the size of the cancer so they can remove it. The doctor said it usually takes 12 treatments.
Each treatment will cost $25,000.00 plus doctors. I don’t know how it will affect his work. And they are fighting with the insurance company to see what they will pay.
I have been to service projects where Craig’s whole family has been there.
I asked the children to share thoughts with me. I want to share what one of them wrote.
“Mom and Dad have always been so selfless in what they do. They have always been strapped with hospital bills for their kids. Dad has always been the type of man when there was ever a person in need, he would drop whatever he was doing and go help where he was needed. He would wake up early in the morning before work and go shovel snow by hand for the elderly couple next door. They would always welcome anyone into their home and treat them like family. My dad’s brother married a lady that had 3 kids. When they split up, they left the 2 oldest by themselves and mom and dad took them in as their own and always made sure they had what they needed that is how I got another brother and sister. Dad always put us kids first he would always make sure that I had my hunting and fishing licenses before him.”
Please open up your hearts and donate to help a family in need.
Please share this with everyone you know and ask them to share it.
My goal is to raise a minimum of $250,000.
Thanks for your help.
