Support Ella's Hysterectomy

Hello my loves! I am scheduled for my hysterectomy on May 19th, and am trying to raise funds so I can take some actual time off to rest and recover. My surgeon is expecting me to need a full 8 weeks off to recuperate, and I have already had to miss a ton of work due to pain. I've had to leave my serving job at Drunk Shakespeare, and while I'm currently looking for a remote or office job that would be less demanding on my broken body, I still have a metric shitload of medical bills to pay.

If I haven't whined to you about my medical issues before, last summer I was diagnosed with Stage IV endometriosis. I had a laparoscopy in August, where we cut out as much endometrial tissue as possible, but they have come back bigger and crankier than before. Over the last 8 months, we have tried a variety of medications and treatments, and unfortunately, the only option we have left to reduce my pain is a complete removal of my uterus and ovaries.

I'm very optimistic, many people who get full hysterectomies only regret not getting them sooner But, I am still losing a major organ, and recovery is going to be rough, so I will take any help I can get. *Post surgery supervisors are friends who are coming over to keep me entertained while I’m on bedrest, I get antsy when I’m bored, so I’m trying to fill as much time as possible playing video games and watching movies with friends
