Volunteer Trip to Nicaragua

I'm so excited to announce that I have been accepted as a GIVE volunteer to participate in a volunteer project in Nicaragua this summer!!! I will be focusing on education and building infrastructures out of recycled materials, such as schools built out of plastic bottles. I will get a chance to work one on one with local children to increase their opportunity to effectively learn and propagate valuable life skills and help them with their English along the way. I will get to participate in a recycling program to keep the community clean and create environmental awareness.  Additionally, as a volunteer, we will support the local NGO in protecting the critically endangered Hawksbill Sea Turtle.  As you may imagine, this is the chance of a lifetime and it means so much that I even have the chance to be a part of it.


Unfortunately, money is the only obstacle I face.  I am happy with even the smallest things in life, therefore any size donation, big or small, will help me fulfill my dreams.
