Elizabeth Grant Caregiver Respite Scholarship

In Elizabeth Grant's honor, her friends are organizing a scholarship so that someone else who is a caretaker can attend Stitches, S'mores & More. The scholarship will be used to cover, at a minimum, registration expenses. If we can cover other expenses such as travel and respite care and maintain funds for future scholarships we will.

Elizabeth was one of the kindest, most supportive, funniest people we've known. She was a cheerleader for everyone. Amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister and incredible friend.  One of Elizabeth's passions was knitting.

For many years she attended Stitches, S'mores & More Knit Camp  held outside of Caldwell, TX each fall. In 2017, Elizabeth started helping organize the Camp. Stitches, S'mores & More was her respite from being the primary caretaker for her mother.

Your support will help allow someone who is a caretaker for someone to have a few days of respite, doing something they love.

In order to plan for someone to attend the 2020 Camp, we will need the funds by June, 2020.

This scholarship is being organized and will be administered by a group of her friends.  We will be ever grateful for your support as will those who will benefit from the scholarship.
