Electric Eagles World Lego Robotics Championship

Hi, my name is Todd and I am one of the parents of Colorado Springs Electric Eagles who will be going to Houston in April to compete in the World Lego Robotics Championship after placing first at the state competition here in Colorado back in December. This fundraiser is to also help Microbots which is another Colorado Springs based team that received second at states and will be traveling to California for this year’s Lego Robotics invitational. There are currently 10 middle school kids on each team and chaperones that will need transportation, room, and board for their respective trips. The Lego robotics competition is a wonderful STEM educational opportunity, and the competition will have teams representing not only each state but teams from all over the globe. I would personally like to thank everyone who donates to this trip and supporting STEM in our area. I am making this request as a parent, not a representative of the school or district.
