I am fundraising to ensure that Labour becomes the biggest group on Bideford Town Council and we knock Torridge District Council out of Tory control.
I am asking for Bideford and the small group of socialists that gave us the 'We Support Jeremy Corbyn' group and page on Facebook. A group that has grown to be the biggest, if not the best social media group for the labour party and Jeremy Corbyn in Britain. If you value the group and page that BBC online credited with helping achieve the fantastic 2017 general election result when some 70,000 activists ensured that on the day of the election 1.1 million Britons were reminded to vote across the country. If you value the work of that first generation of admins that in January 2016 saved the hacked group and rebuilt it back to 15,000 members in under a week. When I started organising in Bideford back in 2012 it would have taken a national swing to Labour so large that only 4 Tory MPs would have remained in parliament to rid Bideford of its Tory MP. Today because of the hard work of those who gave us all the 'We Support Jeremy Corbyn' group they have a chance to make Labour the largest group on their town council. For just £10 you can help ensure that the attorny general has indegestion as the largest town of his safe seat goes from blue to red on May 2nd 2019.
Do not let the socialists of Bideford go into the election unfunded as they are so far behind 'enemy lines' in deepest Toryshire Devon that the Party thinks it is unwinnable. But on the 3rd of May the story of the local elections should be that in the first time in history a town in Devon has a labour run administration. The Tories will be spending the limit of over £750 per ward in all 4 of Bideford's ward. Yet for £750 we can ensure that there are more labour posters in the gardens of Bideford than all the other parties combined.
