El Centro Comunal Latino (CCL) is a grassroots, community-based organization that serves the needs of the Latinx community in the Monroe County, Indiana area. With the COVID-19 pandemic, El Centro has been inundated with requests for assistance from immigrant families who are particularly vulnerable at this time. Many have limited or no access to programs such as unemployment compensation, government relief checks, health insurance, and township assistance.
