Help the Hampton Trust break the cycle of abuse

£130 of £1,000 goal

Raised by 7 people in 1 month

Hello!

Thank you so, so much for taking the time to be here and for checking out my campaign...

If you wish we lived in a world where children could grow up in a home that felt safe and supportive, free from fear of any kind of violence or abuse... a world where we treated those we love with total respect and care, and if you believe that with love, support, and education people can be empowered to change their lives, and ultimately, their destiny then:

Please join me in helping The Hampton Trust www.hamptontrust.org.uk ... and let's come together to support families affected by domestic abuse to have a brighter future.

To raise money I will be throwing myself out of a perfectly good aeroplane on Thursday 19th September 2019 at Salisbury Airfield in a tandem Skydive with UK Skydiving Adventures.

Any donations no matter how small will mean so much... It's not about the amount... if it comes from your heart that is what counts... it's more about getting that nod of acknowledgment that says "I'm in!" that carries the power... It's saying to anyone who lives in fear that we are in this together and you are not alone...  It's giving hope and maybe even a voice to those who wish they had the courage to reach out. Fear is one of the most debilitating emotions we can experience, but I believe that with love and encouragement we can truly soar.... because beyond fear, lies freedom.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and get involved. Thank you... Thank you... Thank you!!!

Who are The Hampton Trust?
They're a small, local charity based in the New Forest, (Hampshire), that for the past 23 years have been working to help rebuild the lives of those affected by domestic abuse & adverse circumstances at home, both locally and nationwide... They are an incredible group of brave, passionate, resilient and hard-working individuals who have a vision... A vision for a more empathic world...  one where people relate to one another with greater understanding, compassion and where equality and respect are at the core of all communication. The work they do is incredibly diverse and truly groundbreaking... and is underpinned by strong values and beliefs, mostly that people can change and with the right support people can transform their shadows into light and rebuild their lives. They run many innovative, rehabilitative and psychoeducational workshops that range from working with vulnerable children and young people in the community affected by adverse home circumstances to supporting careleavers and young parents, to working with young offenders, and offenders and victims of domestic abuse... The work they do is amazing and the impact it has is profoundly transformative.

How it Works
  1. You are donating to PayPal Giving Fund UK, a registered charity (No. 1110538), which will email you a receipt for your donation and claim Gift Aid where eligible.
  2. GoFundMe’s platform is free. The charity will typically receive the funds from PayPal Giving Fund within 15-45 days of your donation if the charity has enrolled (or 90 days if the charity has not yet enrolled). Unlike other platforms, 100% of any Gift Aid will go to the charity as well.
* In very limited cases, a recommended charity may cease to meet PayPal Giving Fund's legal or other eligibility requirements. In such cases, PayPal Giving Fund will reassign the funds to a similar charity, and (wherever possible) seek a new recommendation from donors.
