I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life has a way of changing everything in an instant.

On July 4th, 2025 (just two weeks after my 31st birthday) I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Triple Negative Invasive ductal carcinoma, an aggressive form of breast cancer that has already spread to two lymph nodes.

Right now, I’m in the middle of fertility preservation and preparing to begin chemotherapy, followed by surgery (possibly a double mastectomy), radiation, and years of medications to keep the cancer from coming back.

This diagnosis has been overwhelming, not only for my health but also for my future. I’m a full time dental hygiene student only a few months away from graduating, and because of school I’m not working. As much as I want to focus on healing and finishing school strong, the financial burden of treatment is more than I can manage alone. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket costs are staggering covering fertility preservation, medical bills, and transportation to appointments.

I’ve created this GoFundMe to ask for help during the hardest time of my life. Every dollar raised will go toward:

• Rides to and from the cancer center

• A medical wig to cope with hair loss

• Out-of-pocket medical expenses and insurance gaps

• Fertility preservation
