Sidste Chance - shortfilm

Som dreng er ens far Superman! Med alderen indser man han kun er Clark Kent – fyldt med fejl og mangler. Man kan selv prøve at blive Superman, men uanset hvor god man er, vil man i sidste ende indse man selv bare er Clark Kent.
Vi er en lille gruppe fra Københavns film- og fotoskole, som er i gang med vores afgangsfilm; Sidste Chance. Da vi alle er passioneret omkring projektet, ønsker vi at vi får de bedste muligheder for at gøre filmen så god som overhovedet muligt. Derfor har vi brug DIG! Til at støtte os. Alt ved blive taget imod med kyshånd, og pengene vil gå til skuespiller, transport, lokationer, rekvisitter og catering.
Filmen vil blive optaget i perioden 21. november til den 29. november. Filmen vil efterfølgende have premiere i Grand Teateret i København d. 16. december. Alle på holdet har en personlig investering i filmen, som forhåbentlig kan lede til en fremtid i filmbranchen eller lign. Filmen handler om Titus, som ikke har set sin far i 10 år, da han tilkaldes for at følge ham til kemoterapi. På trods af en trang til at tage et opgør med den mand som aldrig var der for ham, men som nu har brug for ham, er Titus tynget af at det kan blive deres sidste samtale. På deres tre ture til hospitalet tager Titus’ far ham med ud på en rejse, hvor det går op for Titus hvor meget han ligner hans far på godt og ondt.
Sidste Chance handler at ofre sin egen lykke for andre. Skal Titus kun tænke på sig selv og sige nøjagtigt hvad der passer ham til hans far, selvom det kan være det sidste han kommer til at hører? Eller skal han ofre sin egen lykke og skåne sin syge far, med risiko for han selv aldrig får sjælefred? I mange far og søn forhold er der ting man aldrig får sagt, men er det sidste gang man taler sammen – vil man så forsat lade det være usagt?

ENGLISH VERSION:
We are a small group from (KBH film og Foto skole) who are currently in pre-production on our graduation film Sidste Chance (Last Chance). Since this is a passion project for the whole team, we want to make sure that the production value of our movie is as high as possible, but at the same time we want the people working on set to have a good experience. Therefor the donated money will go to things such as catering, transportation, props and actors.
We will start shooting on the 21th of November and end the 29th. The movie will be shown in Grand Teatret in Copenhagen on the 16th of December.
Everyone on the team has a personal investment in the project. The movie is about a son (Titus) whose father has been diagnosed with cancer. Titus has been asked to follow his father to the hospital. His father has always been absent even when they were together it was like his father was not really there. Titus wants to confront his father about this on their trip to the hospital, but he knows this might be their last trip. When driving to the hospital the father wants to do some stops on the way. On this small adventure Titus learns more about his father and how similar they are to each other, both in good and bad ways.
