Eid al Fitr food drive 2024 edition

Al Salam Alaykom everyone,

First off I would like to thank everyone that’s donated to this cause over the last few years. This marks the 5th Eid food drive, and without the amazing volunteers and the generosity of the donors none of this would have been possible. You guys are amazing Mashallah, may Allah reward everyone that’s helped or even shared this with others. I would like to give a special thanks to my brothers that organized and distributed the boxes with us over the past years. Last Eid We were able to provide 120 families in need with a care package. The care package contained:

1. Member mark Tomato sauce-12pk

2. Lance Toastchee pb 40 count

3. Smuckers Strawberry jam 2pk

4. Jif Peanut butter 2 pack

5. Bumble bee tuna 12 pack

6. Members mark vegetable oil 2pk

7. Mortons iodized salt 4Lb

8. Domino Granulated sugar 10LBs

9. Members mark Flour 25Lbs

10. Royal basmati rice 20Lbs

11. Kraft Mac and cheese 18pk

12. And some eid chocolates for the kids

This Eid al Fitr we are aiming for at least 150 families. Of course we will make as many boxes as we can. The care package costs us about $100 per family. We aim to find the families most in need of these packages. We are targeting the refugees, and underprivileged people of Clarkston, Georgia. Anything helps please don’t hesitate to donate however big or small it maybe. Let’s give these people the bare minimum of not having to worry about their meal on Eid. Also, If you know anyone that is in need in the community reach out to me and we will get them a box inshAllah
