Egg-cellent Donation

A retired couple in Walkersville, WV went to the store at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and couldn't find eggs. They decided that would never happen again and took it upon themselves to produce their own. Through that venture they started donating their excess to the food pantry. They soon discovered that a lot of families are in desperate need of food! The motivation quickly grew to a want to expand their chicken operation so that they can intentionally donate more eggs to the food pantry to help the families that are struggling with food disparity. This is where you come in. They need help with materials/funds to expand. They have the ability to purchase, love, and feed the chickens but they need help with the cost of the infrastructure. When they expand they will be able to provide the food pantry with 90-100 dozen eggs a month. The Family Resource Network in Weston, WV is currently serving 400 families a month that range from 4-10 individuals per family! That is a lot of folks that could benefit from fresh eggs! The generosity of this couple needs to be supported! If we all can contribute a little then a big impact can be made. This has the potential to help approximately 2,500 individuals! I just goes to show that small efforts from everyone can make large impacts. We need to raise $3,000 for the materials to expand the operation. There are currently 2 engineers and 1 architect working on the design and they will also help build the structure so this will be the safest chicken coop/run ever built. They are ready to start building as soon as they get enough funds for building materials so let's make this happen as soon as possible. Donate what you can and spread the word!
