The Parents Advisory Association (PAA) VA/DC/MD partners with the University of Virginia (UVA) Office of African-American Affairs (OAAA) in its efforts to develop and sustain programs that provide opportunities and support systems for African-American students at UVA.
PROVIDING FINANCIAL SUPPORT

- OAAA Programs and Projects
- PAA Emergency Loan Program
The objective is to help create and maintain an environment in which African-American students attending UVA will have access to accomodations and considerations that assure enhanced opportunities for positive college experiences and intellectual development which result in graduation and proper preparation for graduate or post-graduate matriculation at any college or university in the nation.
Through fund raising, a major goal is to sponsor activities that enhance the academic, intellectual and social well-being of African-American students at UVA. The PAA is committed to making an impact on student life at UVA with financial support, addressing diversity issues, and supporting recruitment and retention.
All the donations we receive will go directly to fund our activities. Thank you for your support.
