Toys for The Medical ward at RACH
Spende geschützt
Ben Nevis Climb, 12th September 2015
Hi All
I originally was going to raise money for a treat for my friends little girl Amy (7 year old), who since the end of May this year has spent more time in the Medical ward than at home in her own bed battling leukaemia. However after talking to her mum Pauline Roy and dad John Roy (who lives in Cornhill), it was decided the toy room on the Medical Ward at Royal Aberdeen Childrens Hospital was in need of some toys to suit various ages, as there seems to be a lack of or broken toys. We hope to raise enough to get either a play station or xbox type toy for the older kids to play, toys to help the toddlers (like walking aids and sit on toys) and a variety for all the boys and girls that will use the ward.
In an ideal world if I was able to raise loads of money then other wards within the hospital would benefit as well.
The Archie Foundation will also recieve a donation from the money raised aswell
lets help make all these very brave kids stay in hospital a bit more enjoyable.
Thanks
Jolene xx
