On December 25th, 2018 what it’s supposed to be “the most wonderful time of the year” one spent with family and loved ones. One of the best fathers, husband and papas (grandpa) and friends, suffered a massive heart attack unexpectedly.
He was rushed immediately to the hospital and then airlifted to another hospital for surgery. It brakes my heart to say that he didn’t wake up. This was all unexpected, he was not sick, he didn’t have much health problems and he had so many plans for the rest of his life. He left behind his other half, his wife Lucy, his first love and the person he was married to for 37 years. His 3 sons (Efrain Jr, Lionel and Manny) and his 4 beautiful grandkids who he loved so deeply ( yamil, Anais, Liani And Mason).
He was a Florida employee for over 20 years where he was so loved. He was such a pleasure to be around, always smiling, always trying to put a smile on others faces.
This was a tragedy that no one was ready for, this has left our hearts so heavy, and I can’t even begin to imagine the amount of pain this family is currently going through.
Efrain was the primary bread winner and took care of lucy for so long, she not only has to deal with being diagnosed with cancer just this year, but now she lost her soulmate and her best friend. She will need all the help she can get as she learns to now navigate life without him.
