Medical Missions in the DR

Howdy!
I am so excited to announce my opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic for medical missionary! I am a Community Health major at Texas A&M and hoping to pursue nursing school after I graduate. For my major, we are required to participate in an internship and one of my professors has a connection to get me plugged into the medical community there! I will mostly be in the Capital working in the clinical setting and design a health promotion program to benefit their institution in the need that they need most! While I am there, I will also be taking Spanish lessons 8 hours a week, living with a host family, and spiritual outreach! 

Missionary has been something I have been called to do since I have been in the health field! Now that I finally have some knowledge, experience, and opportunity, I can finally pursue this dream!

I have been told by many people how this will be one of the best experiences of my life and will grow tremendously as a person! However, I need to be prepared financially and spiritually! This is where y'all come in! The goal I set will cover almost all expenses including tuition, livng, and travel! I am forever thankful for any support you give me whether it is fiscally, prayer, or advice!
