The amount and what we consume threatens our planet. Farmland, fossil fuels, forest, they are all running out. Each year 300 million tons of waste is piling up, and we recycle only 30% of it.

Our project, The Considerate Consumer , is a digital manual for sustainable consumption. We, a team of 60+ dedicated volunteers , help you to make more sustainable consumption choices, by
→ providing easy to implement tips on a sustainable lifestyle,
→ thoroughly researched,
→ all free of charge.

- ...provide TCC in many more languages, such as Spanish, German, French, Russian, and Hindi.

To do so, we need to keep growing and developing. This requires regular professional advice and feedback in clarifying legal and business issues.
COPY-EDITING
At the heart of our manual are high-quality manual entries.
We want to provide our readers with quality research and high-quality texts.
As an international team, we are all the more dependent on the professional support of a copy-editor. 
REGISTRATION & OUTREACH
TCC is currently a private project. We want to officially register as organisation and our brand.
We rely on sharing and pooling resources. Doing so, we need partners and need to form alliances. We find those in fee-based, professional networks and associations, as for example Impact Hub.
SOFTWARE
For example: Squarespace, Grammarly, Canva, Later, Zotero, Adobe Stock, Slack, Ahrefs, PremierePro, Asana.
We operate virtually only. To be able to act and continue to do our work reliably, we as an online manual need software.
Whether it's front-end or back-end work, almost the whole team works with software. When creating manual entries and graphics, scheduling and posting social media contributions, analyzing user activity, doing search engine optimization, and building, maintaining, and updating our manual, we need professional software.
WORKFORCE
For example: Expense allowances, and part-time salaries.
As a manual with a non-profit purpose, we are primarily dependent on our 60+ volunteers' tireless, reliable, and unrelenting work.
This work needs to be coordinated and organized.
To do this, we need loyal team leaders and specialists who are familiar with our goals and commitments.
For this purpose, we want to provide expense allowances and to create part-time positions that pay our team members in crucial roles accordingly.
