To all my friends and family,
Over 8 years ago, my uncle Ramo Cobaj called me and asked for my help in raising funds to help a little girl named Edita Harasani; she had a brain tumor and needed surgery that could only be done in Belgrade or in another country, as the hospitals in Montenegro do not have the capability to perform such surgery. I told my uncle, who has since passed away, that I would do my best to help raise whatever funds the family needed to help this little girl who does not have immediate family outside of Ulqin. We as a community came together and raised over $30,000.00 for her operation.
Fast forward to 2018 and this beautiful little girl is doing great but needs our help once again, the treatment she needed after her surgery caused all her teeth to rot and caused some issues with her eyes. At this time her eyes may not be feasible to operate on as it could cause more damage and there is no guarantee they could go back to normal, but her teeth could be replaced with implants. She needs a specialist for the procedures and most dentist will not take her as a patient due to her past medical history. Luckily, she has found one willing to do the work, but it is a cost that would be a big burden to her family. If our community can get together once again to help Edita, it would be greatly appreciated.
No amount is too small; I am shooting for at least $10,000 as my goal to help defray her medical costs. The fundraiser money will be withdrawn and sent to the harasani family when I travel to europe both now and in the Summertime. Her parents, Esat Harasani and Shpresa Cobaj Harasani, and I are eternally grateful for your donation. For some of my family and friends who I helped when you needed my help in the past this is a way of paying forward to someone who is in need of our help now.
