As many may already have heard our friend Edward Cavanagh had the worst thing any farmer could have happen to his family a barn fire. In the afternoon of July 17 his barn was on fire and burnt to the ground with at least 40 top show quality registered dairy goats , Karen’s 4-H hefier and their families horse. Ed has been collecting the very best goats from all over the USA and Canada for most of his life, now after forty plus years and yesterday that went up in flames.
This barn was where most of the families memories have been made as his wife Sharron has always been very much involved in the goats day to day care while Ed traveled all over North America judging dairy goats. Their daughters Karen and Kassidy have their own passion for showing and raising dairy goats and dairy cattle to be the fourth generation of breeding and showing dairy cattle and goats.

I don’t know anyone else that has volunteered and done more for others then Ed has over the years and a role model and mentor for everyone that knows him, myself included. Now is the time to payback to the friend and  family that Always pays it forward.

Ed has been a pilar of the dairy goat world since he was a teen showing and later as judge and has excibited or judged at the most prestigious competitions with utmost integrity  compassion and most important makes every person new or exsperenced feel welcomed and appreciated.

So please consider donating to help this beautiful family in the next few week caring  for the remaining few animals not Perished in the horrific tradgity.
