ECP Playground Fundraiser

Our playground is growing! The Early Childhood Program at GJC is proud to partner with Women of GJC to expand and update our beloved playground! 

Here are the planned improvements that are in store:

-Creation of new “tot lot” playground behind existing playground, that will include its own playhouse, sandbox, and small climbing structure

For the existing playground:

-Expanding play opportunities with the addition of a fire engine or bus play structure

-Adding a mud kitchen for increasing creative play, and equipment storage area

-Safety hand rail for our littles walking up and down the playground hill

-Other necessary maintenance improvements

Our goal this year is to raise $2,500 to support the larger fundraising goal set by Women of GJC. The suggested donation amount per ECP family is on a sliding scale of $18 to $108. For those that may not be familiar, in Jewish tradition the number 18, and multiples of 18, are associated with health and life, hence our use of them for this project :)

 We will also be hosting a playground improvement volunteer day in Spring 2018, where ECP families and the entire GJC community will be invited to come together to break ground and put some collective work into playground clean up.
