5th June Eco Day - St Johns Sponsored Litter Pick

Hello! Wren and Robin are celebrating Eco Day on the 5th June by doing a sponsored litter pick at Lodmoor Country Park, Weymouth.

The day is dedicated to raise awareness about environmental issues and promoting action towards protecting the planet. The children in St Johns 'Eco Council' have decided a sponsored litter pick would be a great way to promote this! Every year group will take part during the school day. This will also be an opportunity to think about how we can be eco-friendly and look after the world around us.

Money raised will be used to create a sensory garden at St Johns Primary School. This will not only encourage wildlife but will also provide a calming place for the children, supporting their wellbeing.
