Eckman Legal Fees Support

We are raising funds for our legal fees and settlement costs from a lawsuit that we were unfortunately brought into after the sale of our condo. Back when we prepared to sell our condo the Home Owners Association gave us the wrong numbers to pay off an assessment (despite us trying to verify the numbers), and after closing, the new owners received a bill for the unpaid balance, got a lawyer, and filed a lawsuit against us and the HOA. After a very long legal process, we had to agree to our settlement to avoid going to trial and face much higher legal fees. After using the rest of our savings, we were left with owing $21,000 in remaining legal fees and the settlement costs.

It has been a very difficult season and this is a big burden for us to pay. We are asking people to consider coming alongside us to support us in raising the funds for it. Your support would mean a great deal to us, as getting these costs paid off would allow us to move beyond this chapter, free of this burden, and on a path to plan for the future...

We are musicians (Fred: guitar & vocals, Angie: bass guitar) and truly enjoy playing music for our churches, community, and friends and family; and have been hosting some small fundraiser concerts along the way.
