Easton's adoption fund

We are the Burgess family. Daniel, Lanita, Easton, Braden and Naomi. A funny, fun, and energetic family of Christ followers.

We are raising money to cover the cost of Daniel adopting Easton. Easton is 10 years old and Daniel is the only father he has ever known. Easton became Daniel's step-son when he was 3. Daniel has been caring for Easton for 7 years as his step-father, but has been unable to do things that require a consent form or parent's signature. Everything from visiting the doctor to hanging out at a rock climbing gym are not possible for Daniel and Easton to do alone as father and son. Now as we continue on our path toward Western Ireland, The completion of Easton's adoption is necessary in moving our family to the mission field.

We will be using the funds to cover the total of the lawyer and court costs of the step-parent adoption. We need to have the adoption paid for by Christmas. That being said, the sooner we are able to pay, the sooner the adoption will be complete.
