Easton Teske Cancer Fight Fund

Donation protected
In late June, Easton Teske, his wife Kaelie, and their two young daughters, received life altering news that Easton had been diagnosed with cancer.

Easton works as a lineman for Idaho Power, and in January, he transferred from the Boise area, to Pocatello. Here they started fresh in a new area, a new neighborhood, and with a new job. Since this move, a lot has come their way. Easton hadn't been feeling well for the past few years and, among other symptoms, he had been experiencing chronic itchy skin. He had gone to many InstaCare clinics over the years in search for answers, but finally learned it was cancer, after an ER doctor from his church suggested he come in for tests. On June 28th, Easton was diagnosed with Stage 3, Hodgkin's Lymphoma...a shocking and devastating blow for their young family. Immediately a rigorous 6-month plan for chemotherapy was initiated and just that quickly, his fight began.

Amidst the stress of this diagnosis and treatment plan, Easton and Kaelie have been preparing for the birth of their 3rd child, due in mid-September. The home they were renting was recently sold, forcing them to find a new home and move in the middle of his chemotherapy and weeks before their new baby is due. Along with Easton and Kaelie's families, Easton's co-workers at Idaho Power, rallied around them with support. Together they helped with the move, cleaned up the new home and yard, and even donated precious vacation days to help supplement his income while he is unable to work.

For any who have met or know Easton, you know what a special person he is. Easton is one of those rare individuals who carries something extra in his countenance. Something that touches those around him. He is kind and generous; light hearted and funny. Easton exudes strength, but with a softness that pulls you in. He is the first to offer help to those in need, the first to show kindness or comfort, and the first to serve. Simply put, Easton is full of goodness and being around him makes you want to be a better person.

Easton, Kaelie, and their young family have a long road of treatments ahead, a new baby to welcome into their family, and a home to repair and upgrade. When Easton learned of his diagnosis and that he would not be able to work, one of the first things he did was sell his truck. He said it is something they can live without and a step he could take to better care for his family during this time when he is unable to work.

I hope you can join his family and friends as we rally support to help this amazing young family fight cancer.
