East Kilbride Rugby Club P7 Tour - Movember Fundraiser

There is a team of passionate young rugby players—the P7s—dreaming of an exciting tour across to Belfast to test their skills, make new friends, and bring glory back home. However, there is one small hitch: they need funding for the trip.

Enter Movember! The coaches, parents, and the whole EKRFC rugby community decided to make the annual moustache-growing month even more special. Together, they have created a month-long Movember fundraiser with the goal of raising enough money for the tour while also showing support for men's health causes. Its a perfect match of rugby spirit and community care.

To kick off, the coaches promised to grow out the most outrageous moustaches, Parents and supporters joined in, challenging each other with outrageous styles—from handlebars to walruses, and even one lovingly dubbed the "lightning bolt." Each week, there will be a "Moustache Meter" that tracked progress, and posting hilarious photos on social media to rally the town’s support.

As the weeks roll by, the moustaches will grow wilder, and hopefully the donations will too. By the end of Movember, the P7s hope to raise enough to fund their rugby tour! Not only will this help achieve their goal, but also created memories, strengthened their community ties, and raised awareness for a fantastic cause.
