Ease the Gaitan Family's Journey to Texas

Hi. I'm Joy. Maliah's step mom and we are raising funds to help the Gaitan Family make their way to Texas. This move has been a see saw of changes and challenges. Maliah and Colt moved to her home state of California in Nov of 2021. She began her service in 2018 and moved from one military base to another. Maliah proudly served in the U.S. Army in three states finishing in San Diego as she just completed her service this week. Maliah is now a civilian and is heading out into the next phase of life.

Maliah and her beautiful family could use a gentle nudge of kindness as they navigate the costly expenses of moving their family of 4 & fur baby Moose to the next stop Texas.

They are looking forward to being in the same town as her husbands family and soon enough enjoying a chance to settle down in a more affordable place to grow and thrive.

They head out in about a week with ALL the CHANGES and the travel expenses: gas, hotel, moving company cost and storage: it is all adding and adding up. With the stressors of it all it is time to ask our community for help. I feel like it's truly the hardest thing to do. To be vulnerable and share how now is just a difficult time.

With deep love for this young family I am asking those family and friends who can or feel the call please consider assisting in the easeful and safe transition for our grand kiddos, son-in-law Colt & Maliah into their new life.

These funds are for the last expenses in San Diego, travel to Texas, a storage unit for 3 months as they look for their own home and the balance due after the portion of the military. (distance in miles)

The Biggest gift to this family would be a bit of peace of mind. It's been a difficult time. But better days are on the horizon. They just need to get settled and your support would really make the difference.
