Earth Day Science March Celebration

Together on Earth Day the Women's March Contra Costa is organizing a Science March and Environmental Fair.  We will rally to educate and raise awareness about our united responsibility to protect the global environment for current and future generations. As a nonpartisan group, we march to support science, because we value science and facts do matter. We will stand together against policies that silence, mischaracterize or restrict science. We oppose threats to eliminate public environmental agencies and censor scientists and instead advocate for scientific evidence-based policy decisions.

Moneys will be used to pay for fees associated with hosting the event, including but not limited to: permits, insurance, portable toilets, table and chair rentals, and sound system. While we are a nonprofit organization, donations are not yet tax deductible.
