Eagle Scout Project to Repair Shed

Hi, my name is Grant and I am looking to raise funds for my Boy Scouts of America Eagle Project. I am working with the First Congregational Church in Georgetown, MA who support our local BSA Troop 51 and BSA Troop 101. I am not actually part of either troop, having grown up Lynn with Troop 80. Nonetheless, I know firsthand the positive impact scouting has had on my life and thus appreciate the work the Church has done to allow others to have the same experiences. As such, this project is focused on helping them out as a thank you for their support.

 

The exterior of the First Congregational Church's church is in disrepair and desperately needs improvements. I plan to help refurbish this shed which houses their tools and supplies to maintain the Church and surrounding grounds. The project will consist of replacing the old roof shingles with new ones, and giving the entire shed a new coat of paint.

 

The goal of this fundraiser is to obtain the money needed for supplies- things such as new shingles, paint, nails, brushes, and other tools.
